Healthy Longevity Innovation

B4H supports the Quantum Healthy Longevity Mission and City of Longevity programme with the UK National Innovation Centre for Ageing as major global efforts, currently recruiting 100 Trailblazer Longevity Cities (the form to  register is  here.)

The scientific framework for the Quantum mission is rooted in the concept of the ‘exposome’ linking the biology with the psychology and behavioural aspects of ageing well, as set out in this article in the Lancet  Quantum Healthy Longevity for healthy people, planet, and growth.

We are currently fundraising for the AI exposomic platform underpinning the federated test bed for the Mission as well as the 100 Longevity Cities (effectively acting as ‘local exposomic test beds’).   We are also setting out the Sandbox element, working with investors, regulators, policymakers and citizens via the VOICE network to identify how best to leverage ‘pro-innovation’ regulatory reforms underway in the UK in the Science and Technology Framework to model and test new measurable interventions leading to improved population health and savings in healthcare costs.

We are bringing in the learnings from climate change in our approach and linking climate and health with the co-benefits of investing for both obvious- and feeding into how to measure impact for our Quantum Healthy Longevity mission too.
